Synthesis of Reversible Circuit Using Quantum Dot Cellular Automata

Abstract

Quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) are nanoscale digital logic constructs that use electrons in arrays of quantum dots to carry out binary operations. In this paper, reversible gates for QCA will be proposed. The proposed reversible gates can be customized to implement reversible circuits, such as double CNOT,double Toffoli circuits and swap circuit with less cell count and/orbetter latency than other proposed designs.
